Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Architect, a typical day involves designing and implementing comprehensive testing frameworks that span the entire software development lifecycle. This role requires envisioning innovative testing solutions and integrating cutting-edge tools to enhance quality assurance processes. The position also includes providing strategic guidance to ensure that testing architectures align with organizational goals and support continuous improvement in product quality across various projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of scalable testing strategies that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of quality objectives with business requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- Strong expertise in designing and executing automated and manual test cases for complex software systems.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems to monitor quality metrics and progress.
- Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into effective test plans and strategies.
- Skilled in performance testing and identifying bottlenecks to enhance application reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
