Job Description
- Roles & ResponsibilitiesInstall and replace single-phase and three-phase smart electricity meters.
- Carry out site surveys before installation.
- Remove old meters and install new smart meters safely.
- Perform meter wiring, sealing, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure proper connectivity and functionality of installed smart meters.
- Capture before and after installation photographs using the company mobile application.
- Update installation details, consumer information, and meter data in the mobile app.
- Complete installation reports, job cards, and required documentation accurately.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical and meter-related issues at the consumer site.
- Follow electrical safety guidelines and use PPE while working.
- Coordinate with supervisors for daily work allocation and reporting.
- Maintain daily installation targets and quality standards.
- Handle customer queries professionally during installation.
- Report damaged materials, safety concerns, or technical issues immediately. (National Qualification Register)
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, single-phase
