Procurement Service Center Analyst

As a Procurement Service Center Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Executing simple to moderate transactional procurement activities for assigned countries, regions, or business areas.
  • Supporting requisition-to-purchase order conversion and the full purchase order lifecycle.
  • Maintaining accurate pricing, supplier, and purchasing data in ERP and procurement systems.
  • Resolving routine procurement exceptions and addressing supplier and stakeholder inquiries promptly with a strong customer service focus.
  • Supporting compliance with procurement procedures, sourcing guidelines internal controls and contributing to reporting, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Overall, 2-4 years of work experience with a minimum of 2 years in procurement operations or transactional procurement; experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience in a Shared Service Center or BPO environment, mainly in Procurement, Accounts Payable, or Source-to-Pay activities
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is an added advantage
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced Excel and familiarity with ERP/procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba, or Coupa being advantageous
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles, with the ability to manage workloads effectively and collaborate across cross-functional and multicultural teams

Location: Bangalore (Hebbal), Hybrid Mode
