Job Description
Collect blood samples from patients using standard venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
Label, handle, and transport specimens accurately to the laboratory.
Follow infection control, hygiene, and safety protocols.
Verify patient identity and maintain accurate records.
Prepare patients before sample collection and address their concerns professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sample collection area.
Monitor and maintain phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of samples.
Follow all healthcare regulations and quality standards.
