The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a strong SAP Commissions Compensation Plan specialist for one of our ongoing migration/transformation project being delivered for a strategic customer

 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Plan Configuration: Build and maintain incentive compensation plans, including complex sales rules, bonuses, and multipliers, using the SAP drag-and-drop interface.
  • Data Management: Manage participant data, organizational hierarchies, and transaction data loads.
  • Pipeline Calculation: Configure and run the calculation pipeline (Stagehooks) to calculate earnings, and generate final payments for payroll.
  • System Testing: Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that calculations match compensation design documents.
  • Support & Reporting: Analyze sales performance, create custom reports and dashboards, and resolve disputes using built-in inquiry tools. 

 

 

Typical Activities

 

  • Creating and updating formulas, Rate Tables, and Lookup Tables.
  • Setting up Plan Document Automation to send commission statements to employees.
  • Modeling future compensation scenarios to understand cost impacts. 

 

 

Compensation Plan Components Handled

 

  • Credit Rules: Allocating transactions to the correct sales rep.
  • Measurement Rules: Aggregating credits to measure quota attainment.
  • Incentive Rules: Calculating earnings based on measurements.
  • Deposit Rules: Determining payment timing and payout details

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience with SAP Commissions/Callidus Cloud configuration.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of incentive compensation management principles.
  • Data Integration: Experience with data integration methods such as API, CDL files, or SAP CPI.
