We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Specialist Advisor to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Katalon Architect with 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering, including deep expertise in Katalon Studio/TestOps and enterprise test automation strategy. This role will be responsible for defining and driving the end-to-end automation architecture, establishing enterprise standards and governance, and enabling scalable, reusable, and reliable automation solutions across web, API, mobile, and CI/CD ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on architecture and framework design expertise with leadership in automation transformation, DevOps integration, quality governance, and cross-functional enablement. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build long-term automation capabilities while also guiding teams on implementation, standardization, and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise-wide test automation architecture using Katalon Studio/TestOps across web, API, mobile, and integrated platforms
• Architect, design, and implement scalable Katalon-based automation frameworks, accelerators, reusable libraries, and reference implementations
• Lead Katalon MCP framework design, proof of concepts, architecture patterns, and reusable component strategy
• Establish and enforce automation governance, coding standards, framework guidelines, quality gates, and best practices across teams
• Drive standardization and enterprise adoption of automation approaches, frameworks, naming conventions, reporting standards, and execution models
• Provide architectural oversight for framework modernization, refactoring, regression stabilization, suite optimization, and maintainability improvements
• Design and implement continuous testing architecture integrated with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools
• Define and govern GitHub/Git branching strategies, code review standards, release workflows, and DevOps best practices for automation assets
• Partner with engineering, QA, DevOps, product, and business stakeholders to align automation architecture with enterprise delivery objectives
• Build and maintain automation observability and reporting strategy, including dashboarding, execution analytics, quality metrics, and trend analysis through TestOps and related tools
• Establish documentation and knowledge management standards, including architecture documentation, playbooks, framework usage guides, and Wiki governance
• Lead automation assessments, tool evaluations, and architecture reviews to improve platform effectiveness, scalability, and ROI
• Support and drive ACOE / QE CoE initiatives, including capability building, training, demos, mentoring, and cross-LOB enablement
• Act as a technical leader and mentor for automation engineers, senior testers, and framework contributors across multiple teams
• Drive enterprise-level quality engineering transformation through innovation, governance, and strategic automation adoption

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering, with significant focus on test automation architecture and framework engineering
• Extensive hands-on expertise in Katalon Studio and Katalon TestOps
• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise-scale automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile platforms
• Strong expertise in framework patterns such as data-driven, keyword-driven, modular, hybrid, and reusable component-based architectures
• Strong programming/scripting experience in Groovy and Java
• Solid experience in API automation, including REST and SOAP services
• Strong understanding of test architecture principles, framework scalability, maintainability, extensibility, and reliability engineering
• Extensive experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
• Strong experience with Git/GitHub, branching models, repository governance, pull request workflows, and code review practices
• Strong knowledge of automation governance, standardization, lifecycle management, and enterprise quality practices
• Proven experience in regression suite optimization, flakiness reduction, stabilization, and execution efficiency improvement
• Experience with DevOps integration, environment strategy, test execution orchestration, and automation lifecycle management
• Strong experience in documentation, Wiki ownership, knowledge management, and technical enablement
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and architecture decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to define and drive automation strategy at enterprise scale
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proven leadership in mentoring, coaching, and enabling distributed automation teams
• Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to engineering quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building or scaling Automation Center of Excellence (ACOE) / Quality Engineering CoE
• Experience in large-scale transformation programs involving automation standardization across multiple business units
• Exposure to cloud-based test environments, containerized execution, and scalable test infrastructure
• Familiarity with quality metrics, reporting frameworks, and executive-level automation dashboards
• Experience evaluating and implementing enterprise automation tooling strategies

Nice to Have

• Katalon certifications or relevant automation/testing certifications
• Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments with strong governance requirements
• Exposure to performance, security, or non-functional test automation strategy
• Experience with integration of automation reporting into enterprise observability platforms
