Job Description
Vendor Risk Specialist Role will support the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program by coordinating vendor risk assessments, collecting due diligence documentation, tracking remediation activities, maintaining risk records, and supporting ongoing monitoring activities. This role works closely with business stakeholders, vendors, Information Security, Legal, Procurement, and Compliance teams to ensure vendor risks are identified, assessed, and managed in accordance with company requirements. The responsibilities align with activities performed within the HR VRA and Vendor Management programs.Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Vendor Risk Assessments (VRAs) for onboarding, refresh, exit, and event-driven reviews.
- Perform inherent and residual risk assessments and determine assessment scope based on vendor risk profiles.
- Initial review of Information Security, Business Continuity, Privacy, Physical Security, and Compliance documentation provided by vendors.
- Coordinate with Information Security, Legal, Privacy, Business Continuity, Procurement, and business stakeholders to complete assessments.
- Track vendor findings, remediation plans, risk exceptions, and ensure timely closure within SLA requirements.
- Review contracts and work with procurement team for NDA when requested.
- vulnerability assessments, and other due diligence documents.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, dashboards, trackers.
- Escalate overdue assessments, findings, and exceptions to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Support ongoing monitoring activities and periodic vendor reassessments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management certificate and equivalent.
- Experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Risk Management, Operational Risk, Compliance, or Governance functions and procurement.
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and vendor due diligence processes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple assessments simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ariba, SharePoint, and other GRC or procurement platforms.
- Experience supporting global vendor governance and cross-functional risk programs.
- Advanced reporting, dashboard creation skills.
