R-Flows & Technology Incubation

A purpose driven role for you

This Role is to Coordinate & work closely internal/external to align & deliver R&D research flows with the organization priorities. 
Strong understanding of future automotive technologies and in-depth knowledge of automotive design. 
To define & review the Rflow new requirements (RFQ, Technology Roadmaps, etc) and drive technology incubation with hands-on  execution (with external partners – GPP,EMBU, HIC & Sourcing)  

Mange PoCs from Academia & Startups, Ensure Communication flow, Priority & schedule management, Commercials tracking, Escalation process, Management reports for the R-Flows

Tech exploration & Innovation for newer technologies/ applications
Generate IP for new Technologies with internal/external stakeholders for new technologies 
Ensure innovation/ upcoming mobility concept implementation

A Day in the life

• Perform R-Flows & PoCs with clear prioritization for Academia & Xflows
• Ensure the R-Flow Gate process, and evaluation metrics and deliverables for each R-Flow gate
• Ensure up-to-date tracking of R-Flows to bring visibility for deployment in D-Flows
• Coordinate the review and selection of R-Flows with CoC’s in alignment in line with Technology Roadmap
• Contribute to platform identification for R-Flow deployment, integrate into 5 yr Cycle Plan
• Identify & implement in Dflows with smooth handover to MLH along with display of POCs.
• Tech exploration & Innovation for newer technologies/ applications
• Generate IP for new Technologies with internal/external stakeholders for new technologies
• Ensure innovation/ upcoming mobility concept implementation

Academic Qualification & Experience

Bachelor of Engineering

10-12  yrs experience in R&D with Technology & Innovation background.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Hands-on design experience (5+ years) or experience in new technology incubation

New technologies related to Engine, Powertrains, Materials, Light weighting, Optimization. Start-up experience is desirable.

Drive partnerships to incubate emerging technologies

Behavioural Skills

Analytical and Financial understanding to evaluate projects in terms of business metrics

Assertively able to communicate the cause & solutions 

Detail Oriented and Timeline driven: Able to define deliverables objectively and with clear timelines.

Innovation oriented mindset & self-drive for technology incubation. Tech orientation for effective interactions with technical CoCs.
