Role Responsibilities:
Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet the demand.
Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management, fulfillment)
Ensure timely creation and execution of transfer orders (TOs).
Validate lane availability and logistics readiness before initiating transfers.
Drive purchasing activities to execute purchase at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
Lead inventory and E&Z reduction efforts
Manage and lead assigned Purchasing Projects (i.e. Manage cost, schedule, and scope as required)
Manage complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership team and internal stakeholders
Contribute to purchasing process improvement within the team and Act as trainer for department purchasing activities .
Act as a key liaison between supply planning, logistics, warehousing, and operations teams.
Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
7 -12 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplace
Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus, as needed
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
Understanding of inventory management, transfer orders, and logistics processes.
