Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As Deputy Manager within the Supply Chain Planning & Control division, you will play a pivotal role in managing inventory to ensure smooth operations between supply chain and manufacturing. Your core responsibilities will include maintaining agreed-upon inventory levels by continuously monitoring raw materials and components flow, contributing to planning efforts to define optimal stock levels and exercising adjustment authority as needed.
You will enforce compliance with the company’s policies and procedures around inventory management, lead initiatives to implement effective loss prevention techniques, and foster collaboration between procurement and manufacturing teams to align stock availability with production demands.
Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities and operational excellence of the Materials Logistics & Loss Prevention (MLL) staff, driving performance, and ensuring team adherence to organizational standards. Your role will require proactive problem-solving to quickly address any supply chain disruptions, and regularly reporting on inventory metrics to support strategic decision making at the Farm Division level.
Your contributions will be essential in enabling efficient supply chain operations, reducing waste, and maintaining cost-effective inventory levels that support the manufacturing schedule without interruption.

The position requires a Bachelor of Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering. This educational foundation equips candidates with the technical knowledge needed to understand manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and supply chain intricacies relevant to the automotive and farm equipment industry.
A strong engineering background supports analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving, which are critical for optimizing inventory management, forecasting demand, and implementing process improvements within the supply chain environment.
Ongoing commitment to professional development, such as certifications in supply chain management or lean manufacturing, would be advantageous to stay abreast of industry best practices and evolving technologies.
General Experience
Applicants should have 4 to 8 years of relevant experience within supply chain functions, preferably within the automotive or farm equipment sectors, to demonstrate adequate exposure to inventory management, procurement coordination, and operational planning.
This experience should encompass hands-on responsibility for managing inventory flows, optimizing stock levels, and collaborating across multiple departments to support manufacturing objectives.
Proven experience in leading teams or supervising operational staff is essential, reflecting capability in managing day-to-day activities and driving performance in dynamic environments.
In addition, candidates are expected to have solid familiarity with industry-standard inventory control systems, ERP software, and data analysis tools, enabling effective monitoring and reporting.
Critical Experience
Critical to success in this role is demonstrated expertise in supply chain planning and inventory optimization within a manufacturing context, ideally in the automotive or farm equipment industries. Candidates should have a track record of successfully balancing inventory costs with timely availability of materials to support production schedules.
Experience in implementing loss prevention strategies and enforcing compliance with supply chain policies underscores an understanding of risk management and operational governance.
Strong coordination skills with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless supply continuity are essential, coupled with the ability to lead and motivate a team towards operational excellence.
