Job Description

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in the ERP/inventory management system.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory is maintained.
  • Perform regular stock verification, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and equipment.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery challans.
  • Issue materials as per approved requisitions and maintain issue records.
  • Maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement team for timely replenishment.
  • Maintain inventory registers, stock ledgers, and related documentation.
  • Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), stock transfer records, and dispatch documentation.
  • Ensure proper filing and record retention.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, and Accounts teams regarding inventory requirements.
  • Support dispatch planning and order fulfillment activities.
  • Assist during internal and external inventory audits.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Generate inventory MIS reports and stock movement analysis.
  • Report shortages, excess stock, and damaged inventory to management.
