Job Description
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in the ERP/inventory management system.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory is maintained.
- Perform regular stock verification, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and equipment.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Issue materials as per approved requisitions and maintain issue records.
- Maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
- Coordinate with the Procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Maintain inventory registers, stock ledgers, and related documentation.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), stock transfer records, and dispatch documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and record retention.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, and Accounts teams regarding inventory requirements.
- Support dispatch planning and order fulfillment activities.
- Assist during internal and external inventory audits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Generate inventory MIS reports and stock movement analysis.
- Report shortages, excess stock, and damaged inventory to management.
