Job Summary:

This role is part of the Compliance & Reporting Oversight function and interfaces with statutory compliance and financial reporting teams in shared services and controller offices across the globe. Will work to maintain and build robust oversight tools, processes and controls over statutory compliances and financial reporting. The role is designed to evolve from support to ownership of the oversight function in the medium term.

Major Responsibilities:

Earn our customers’ trust

  • Drive oversight of statutory compliance and financial reporting processes
  • Maintain compliance and audit dashboards, including timely updates and user management
  • Work with country controllers for ongoing adoption of compliance and audit library
  • Support in independent reviews of financial statements as per CP 1080.30
  • Support ad-hoc requests from BBS leadership/ Corporate Controller/ Chief Accounting Officer

Build the company for the long-term

  • Lead the implementation of improvements in compliance and audit dashboard/library
  • Help organize and conduct technical and AI trainings within General Accounting
  • Identify and implement AI use cases within General Accounting
  • Act as a subject matter expert for processes, constantly identifying process improvement opportunities, and leading development of new solutions and process documentation

Invest in People

  • Collaborate closely with shared services and controller offices teams across the globe
  • Build strong working relationships with all the stakeholders
  • Support meeting senior stakeholders’ expectations and building trusted relationships
  • Work cross functionally with various verticals of finance organization

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
  • Strong foundational knowledge of technical concepts in statutory compliance and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail in ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Good understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls
  • Good verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Oracle, SAP

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • The ideal candidate must possess good project management skills
  • The ideal candidate must be a 'self-starter' capable of working independently in unstructured environment with tight timelines
  • Must be dependable, punctual, conscientious, and function well with matrix teams
  • Candidate is expected to maintain confidentiality of information entrusted to the position
