DGM - Transition/Transformation and Program Management
Role Summary
The Transition, Transformation & Continuous Improvement Leader will drive large-scale transitions, deliver end‑to‑end business transformations, and institutionalize a continuous improvement culture across global operations. This role requires strong program management expertise, deep process knowledge, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams through complex change. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies is highly desirable.
Main Tasks
Transition Management
- Lead the planning and execution of complex multi‑phase transitions across global functions or business units.
- Design transition governance, define operating models, create risk registers, and establish mitigation plans.
- Ensure seamless knowledge transfer, resource readiness, and process stabilization for new or migrated services.
- Act as the single point of accountability for all transition milestones, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
Transformation Leadership
- Drive large-scale transformation programs aimed at operational excellence, digitization, and automation.
- Evaluate current state processes, identify target-state design opportunities, and develop multi-year transformation roadmaps.
- Partner with technology, operations, and business teams to deploy workflow solutions, automation (RPA/AI), and standardized processes.
- Deliver measurable improvements in cost, productivity, quality, and customer experience.
Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Establish and embed a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.
- Lead CI initiatives through structured problem-solving, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Coach and mentor teams on CI tools (Kaizen, VSM, DMAIC, PDCA, RCA, etc.).
- Create standardized tools, dashboards, and KPIs for tracking CI benefits and operational performance.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior leadership to align transformation goals with business strategy.
- Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes through governance updates and executive presentations.
- Build trusted relationships across global teams, enabling influence without direct authority.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to compliance, regulatory, and information security requirements throughout transition and transformation activities.
- Establish robust documentation, SOPs, and audit-ready processes.
Experience
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of progressive experience in transition management, business transformation, and process improvement across large enterprises or global shared services.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale transitions and multi-year transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of process frameworks, operating model design, and program governance.
- Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or equivalent CI methodologies (certification preferred).
- Experience with automation technologies (RPA, workflow tools, AI/ML-enabled solutions) is a plus.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and change management capabilities.
- Ability to work in complex, matrixed, and geographically distributed environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (certification preferred but not mandatory).
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project/program management certification.
- Experience in global business services, IT/ITES, consulting, or large-scale operations.
- Exposure to digital transformation, analytics, and process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining).
