Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Article Assistants to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing their Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification from ICAI to gain practical experience in a professional environment. As an Article Assistant, you will be involved in various aspects of audit, taxation, accounting, and other related tasks, working under the guidance of experienced Chartered Accountants. This role offers invaluable exposure and a strong foundation for a successful career in accountancy.

Responsibilities:

• Audit & Assurance: Assist in planning and executing audit procedures.
• Perform vouching, verification, and reconciliation of financial records.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation in accordance with firm standards and statutory requirements.
• Identify and report audit findings.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports.
• Taxation (Direct & Indirect):Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns, GST returns, and other tax-related documents.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Assist in tax assessments and appeals.
• Maintain proper tax records and documentation.
• Accounting: Assist in maintaining and reviewing accounting records.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Assist with bookkeeping and data entry tasks.
• Handle bank reconciliations and other accounting procedures.
• Other Responsibilities: Assist in company law matters, including ROC filings.
• Support senior colleagues in various assignments and projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Adhere to the firm's policies and ethical standards.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be a registered student of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and have cleared the [mention relevant stage, e.g., IPCC/Intermediate] examinations or pursuing ICWA or Graduate in Accounting & Taxation
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of relevant accounting software is an advantage.
