As a Developer on the team you will be responsible for architecting, designing and implementing high-scale, global, innovative solutions that provide the best mobile experience for our customers.


RESPONSIBILITES:
- Design, implementation, and deployment of one or more of the following: web services, web applications, or mobile applications.
- Knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams across Amazon on the design and development of core platform functionality.
- Work with the business team and project managers to convert functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Work with engineers to define technical tasks and build detailed implementation plans.
He/she should be able to operate in a very fast paced environment where time to hit market is super critical. They would need to also balance technical leadership with savvy business judgment to make the right decisions about technology choices.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
