IT Operations Engineer - IT SecOps

As IT Operations Engineer – IT SecOps, you will collaborate & coordinate with different teams within Barco for the IT governance & Compliance. Apart from this you will be part of the operations team responsible to manage L1 level task related to the IT security incidents.  Key Responsibilities 

• You are responsible to create, present and follow-up on the compliance & governance reports & actionable around Barco’s IT Security tools.
• Responsible for handling IT Security incidents L1 level tasks with focus on different platforms like ServiceNow, Cybersecurity, XDR & Vulnerability management solutions, Public & Private cloud resources.
• Responsible for providing L1 support (registration and validation of incidents and providing the first-line support based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and follow-up of incidents and SLA’s) 
• Participate in a monthly rotational 24x7 standby roster to support critical incidents, including after-hours coordination with external SOC and stakeholder escalation
• Mindset towards security processes & compliance.
• Be alert for and aware of non-optimal operational processes, lack of integration and sub-optimization. Identify and expose them; work with Service Delivery management to suggest improvements.
• Project rollout support
• Help creating and maintaining Standard operational procedures (SOP), under guidance of System engineers.
• Support other key stakeholder in all security initiatives & handle L1 level task in those initiatives.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• B.Tech./B.E/BCA/M.Tech in computer science/IT or equivalent stream.
• Desired Exp. range 6+ years in IT and familiar with various IT and SaaS based platforms.
• Willing to work as an independent contributor
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically. 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 

Must have skills

We are currently looking for an Operations Engineer, a dedicated achiever, self-directed imitator, hardworking winner who: 

• Strong experience in Vulnerability management cordinations and handson exp on tools like MS Defender & Qualys
• Good experience in security incident handling, collating data, report creations and strong coordination skills.
• Have good experience in any basic networking, IT Security, Operating System & Cloud platform.

Skills nice to have

• Prior experience working on various IT tools & SaaS based platform.
• Experience handling IT compliance & governance tools.
