Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, replace, and commission electricity meters.
  • Verify meter type, serial number, and installation location.
  • Perform wiring, termination, and polarity checks.
  • Conduct functional testing and meter programming where required.
  • Ensure proper sealing and labeling of installed meters.
  • Record installation details and complete documentation.
  • Report defects, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions.
  • Follow all electrical safety and PPE requirements.
  • Communicate with customers regarding installation activities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in electrical meter installation preferred.
