Team Lead, Conference Business Operations (Tech Admin)

About this role:

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for both executing and supporting the delivery of the critical technologies necessary to provide best-in-class conference experiences.

The Business Operations Team Leader will be responsible for performing setup and configuration tasks, ensuring the quality of team deliverables, supporting day-to-day team execution, and partnering across teams to improve processes and delivery outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Set up and configure critical conference technologies, delivering evergreen technology availability and best-in-class experiences.
  • Perform quality assurance testing, data audits, investigations, and remediation to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Support day-to-day team delivery, ensuring timelines, priorities, and expectations are met across conferences.
  • Review work outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment to standards.
  • Act as an escalation point for operational issues and support problem resolution.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to improve performance and execution.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members on processes and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation of solutions that enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Provide visibility into team progress, risks, and deliverables through regular tracking and communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful conference delivery.

What you will need:

  • 5-7 yrs of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle more complex operational scenarios.
  • Experience supporting or guiding others in delivery, including coaching or training.
  • High level of accountability with ownership of both individual and team deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to travel up to 5% of the year, supporting global conferences.
