Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer to design, optimize, and maintain a robust Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) foundation that powers all high-stakes internal dashboards in Power BI. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability across mission-critical reporting systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components will be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Database design: Architect normalized and optimized schemas to support analytical workloads.
• SQL development: Write efficient queries, stored procedures, and functions for data processing and reporting.
• Performance tuning: Optimize queries, indexes, and execution plans to ensure high performance.
• ETL processes: Develop and maintain pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into reporting layers.
• Power BI integration: Collaborate with BI developers to ensure seamless connectivity and optimized data models.
• Data governance: Implement standards for data quality, security, and compliance.
• MS Fabric knowledge: Leverage Fabric components (e.g., Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse) to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–6 years of professional experience in SQL development and database management.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SQL Server and relational database concepts.
• Proficiency in query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline development.
• Familiarity with Power BI data modeling and DAX fundamentals.
• Understanding of data security and compliance standards.
  

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics).
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure SQL, Synapse, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
