Job description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and Tally Prime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and bank reconciliations
- Handle data entry and bookkeeping tasks in Tally Prime
- Prepare basic financial reports and statements
- Support senior accountants with daily accounting operations
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Manage filing and documentation of financial records
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
