Job Description
Big P Cafe & Catering is looking for a passionate and responsible Cafe Manager to take complete ownership of our café’s daily operations. The ideal candidate should be able to manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, control inventory and costs, and help grow the business.
This is a leadership role with a performance-based incentive plan.
If you help the business grow, your earnings grow too, with commission structure you can make upto INR 35,000
Working Hours
Morning Shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Break: 2:00 PM – 4:30PM
Evening Shift: 4:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Weekly Off: One day per week (Monday or Tuesday, depending on business requirements).
Job Objective
To independently manage the daily operations of Big P Cafe & Catering while:
- Delivering outstanding customer service.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
- Managing staff efficiently.
- Controlling inventory and reducing wastage.
- Increasing café sales and profitability.
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperationsOpen and close the café on time.
- Ensure the café is fully prepared before opening.
- Supervise kitchen and service staff.
- Maintain smooth daily operations.
Customer Experience
- Welcome customers and ensure an excellent dining experience.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Encourage repeat customers and positive reviews.
- Staff ManagementPrepare staff duty rosters.
- Monitor attendance and discipline.
- Train and motivate the team.
Inventory & Procurement
- Verify inventory received every morning.
- Monitor daily stock levels.
- Prepare the next day’s purchase order before closing.
- Control wastage and inventory losses.
- Cash & BillingSupervise billing and cash handling.
- Verify daily sales and collections.
- Ensure accurate cash reconciliation.
- Hygiene & Quality
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ensure food quality and presentation.
- Ensure staff follow grooming and hygiene standards.
Daily Reporting
- Submit a daily report before leaving that includes:
- Total Sales
- Cash & Online Collections
- Customer Count
- Inventory Status
- Next Day Purchase Requirements
- Staff Attendance
- Customer Feedback
- Operational Issues (if any)
