About the Role :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AI professional to join our team on a freelance basis. This fully remote position offers flexible working hours and involves assessing schools' preparedness for Artificial Intelligence adoption. The selected candidate will evaluate educational institutions, conduct AI readiness audits, identify opportunities for AI integration, and provide actionable recommendations to school leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct AI readiness assessments and audits for schools and educational institutions.
• Evaluate existing technology infrastructure, digital maturity, and AI adoption potential.
• Review academic, administrative, and operational processes for AI integration opportunities.
• Assess data management practices, cybersecurity awareness, and digital governance frameworks.
• Identify gaps in AI literacy among educators, administrators, and support staff.
• Analyze curriculum alignment with emerging AI and digital skills requirements.
• Prepare AI readiness reports, scorecards, and recommendations for school management.
• Conduct virtual interviews and surveys with school stakeholders.
• Assist in developing AI implementation roadmaps and strategic action plans.
• Research emerging AI technologies relevant to K–12 and higher education environments.
• Support schools in understanding responsible and ethical AI adoption practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to standardize assessment frameworks and audit methodologies.
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely submission of audit findings.

AI Readiness Audit Responsibilities:

The auditor will evaluate schools across the following areas:

1. Infrastructure Assessment : Internet connectivity and network reliability.

• Availability of digital devices and learning technologies.
• Cloud readiness and software ecosystem evaluation.
• Data storage, accessibility, and security practices.

2. Leadership & Strategy Assessment School leadership's understanding of AI opportunities and risks.

• Existing digital transformation initiatives.
• AI vision, goals, and implementation readiness.

3. Academic Readiness Assessment Integration of technology into teaching and learning.

• Teacher digital competency and AI awareness.
• Curriculum preparedness for AI and future workforce skills.
• Assessment and learning analytics capabilities.

4. Operational Readiness Assessment Administrative process automation opportunities.

• Student services and communication systems.
• Admissions, attendance, and reporting workflows.

5. Governance & Compliance Assessment Data privacy and protection practices.

• Ethical AI awareness and policies.
• Risk management and responsible AI considerations.

6. Recommendation & Reporting Develop AI readiness scores and maturity ratings.

• Provide practical recommendations for improvement.
• Create implementation roadmaps with prioritized initiatives.
• Present findings to school leadership teams through virtual meetings.
• Required Skills Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
• Experience with Python and AI/ML tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, AI assistants, and educational AI applications.
• Strong analytical, auditing, and assessment capabilities.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage with school leaders, teachers, and administrators professionally.
• Familiarity with educational technology platforms is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience2–4 years of experience in AI, Data Science, Educational Technology, IT Consulting, Digital Transformation, or related fields.
• Experience conducting assessments, audits, surveys, or consulting engagements is preferred.
• Exposure to K–12 schools, higher education institutions, or EdTech environments is an advantage.
