Automation Engineer

Job description:

As an Engineer Projects (Industrial Automation), you will be responsible for managing the

development, commissioning, and service calls related to PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Drives projects, with

a primary focus on Siemens automation solutions.

Job Location - Surat & Gurugram

Key roles and responsibilities are as below:

 Perform pre-commissioning activities for automation projects.

 Conduct loop checking and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure proper functionality and

adherence to project specifications.

 Develop and program automation systems, utilizing ladder logic programming and other relevant

programming languages as required.

 Lead and participate in the commissioning process, ensuring successful implementation and

integration of automation systems into the client's operations.

 Drawing review and approval.

 Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to verify system performance and compliance with

project requirements.

 Provide technical support and expertise to clients, resolving issues and addressing service calls in

a timely and efficient manner.

Desired Candidate Profile:

 Proven experience in industrial automation, with a strong focus on PLC, SCADA, HMI, and

Drives projects, particularly Siemens solutions.

 Proficiency in WINCC, TIA Portal, and ladder logic programming.

 Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and documentation.

 Willingness to learn and continuously improve automation skills.

Qualification:

B.E. / B. Tech. / Diploma (in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Power Electronics / EC / IC)
