Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the store, ensuring achievement of sales targets, delivering excellent customer service, managing store staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Drive store revenue through effective sales strategies.
- Monitor daily sales performance and prepare reports.
- Promote products, offers, and company campaigns.
Team Management
- Supervise, motivate, and guide store employees.
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
- Ensure proper staff scheduling and attendance.
- Train employees on product knowledge and customer service.
Customer Service
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
- Minimize stock loss and inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams.
Store Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the store.
- Follow company SOPs and compliance requirements.
Cash & Financial Management
- Monitor cash handling and banking procedures.
- Verify daily cash collections and deposits.
- Ensure accuracy in billing and financial transactions.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Submit sales, stock, and manpower reports to management.
- Analyze store performance and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 3–5 years of retail experience with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in mobile retail or consumer electronics industry preferred.
