Digital Marketing Intern – Content, CEO Branding & SEO

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and driven Digital Marketing Intern to support our CEO's personal brand, content marketing, and SEO initiatives. You will work closely with leadership to build a compelling online presence, drive organic traffic, and execute digital campaigns that amplify our brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

CEO Personal Branding

Manage and grow the CEO's LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and other social profiles

Draft thought leadership articles, posts, and commentary on industry trends

Coordinate interviews, podcast appearances, and speaking opportunity outreach

Monitor CEO brand mentions and engagement metrics

Content Marketing

Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms

Write blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, and website copy

Develop a content calendar aligned with business goals

Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets (reels, carousels, infographics)

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search opportunities

Optimize website pages, blogs, and landing pages for on-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking)

Assist with technical SEO audits — page speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability

Build and track backlink opportunities through outreach and content

Monitor organic performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and tools like SEMrush / Ahrefs / Ubersuggest

Analyze competitor SEO strategies and suggest improvements

Support local SEO efforts including Google Business Profile management

Campaign Support

Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns

Track and report on KPIs — organic traffic, rankings, reach, engagement, and leads

Research competitors and identify content and SEO gaps

Who You Are

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Familiar with LinkedIn, Instagram, and content scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.)

Basic knowledge of SEO principles — on-page, off-page, and technical

Exposure to tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs is a plus

Analytical mindset with an eye for detail

Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks
