Service Advisor

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY

. Customer Intake & Diagnosis: Greet customers, listen to their concerns (e.g., mileage drops, wobbling), inspect the bike for damage, and create a formal job card.

. Cost Estimation: Calculate parts and labor costs, provide accurate quotes, and obtain customer approval before starting repairs.

. Workshop Coordination: Assign tasks to mechanics, monitor repair progress, and update customers if additional issues or delays arise.

. Quality Check & Delivery: Inspect the bike to ensure all requested repairs are completed, explain the invoice line-by-line, and educate the customer on future maintenance.

. Upselling: Recommend value-added services, maintenance packages, and genuine accessories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

. Strong Communication: Ability to translate technical mechanical jargon into simple, customer-friendly language.

. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of two-wheeler components, engines, and servicing procedures.

. Customer Service: Patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills to handle customer queries and complaints effectively.

. Computer & Organization: Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) for billing and updating customer records
