Senior Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging, and impactful video content.

• Interpret scripts, storyboards, briefs, and creative concepts to produce high-quality visual

outputs.

• Incorporate music, voiceovers, sound effects, motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to

enhance storytelling.

• Create and edit 2D and 3D animations as required for projects.

• Perform color correction, audio synchronization, sound mixing, and final rendering.

• Develop creative concepts and original content ideas for clients and internal projects.

• Collaborate closely with the Creative, Marketing, and Production teams to achieve projec Ensure continuity, pacing, and visual consistency across all video productions.

• Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in video editing and post-

production.

• Manage, organize, archive, and maintain project files, raw footage, and final deliverables.

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production.

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro (FCP), and professional

audio editing/mixing software.

• Hands-on experience with motion graphics, compositing, visual effects, and animation.

• Excellent understanding of video formats, codes, encoding standards, and delivery

specifications.

• Strong storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail, timing, rhythm, and visual aesthetics.

• Ability to visualize concepts creatively and produce content from briefs, scripts, shot lists, or

storyboards.

• Knowledge of time codes, key numbers, and professional post-production workflows.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Multimedia, Video Editing,

Mass Communication, or a related field from a reputed institution preferred.
