Operations Manager – ICT Education Program

About the Role

We are seeking a high-impact Operations Manager to lead and scale our ICT education program across Bihar, managing a large distributed workforce of ICT Lab Instructors. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, ensuring program quality, and building a strong talent pipeline to support future business growth.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in large-scale field operations, team management, and process standardization, along with the ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations of ICT labs across multiple districts, ensuring seamless program delivery and uptime.
• Manage, mentor, and performance-drive a team of ICT Lab Instructors through structured reporting and governance frameworks.
• Design and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for training delivery, reporting, compliance, and escalation management.
• Build a robust talent pipeline by identifying high-potential instructors and enabling capability development for future roles.
• Drive training, onboarding, and continuous upskilling programs for instructors to ensure quality learning outcomes.
• Monitor program KPIs including attendance, lab utilization, student engagement, and learning outcomes; implement corrective actions as required.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, school authorities, and internal teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Leverage technology platforms (MIS, dashboards, no-code tools) for real-time tracking, reporting, and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost optimization, and scalability.

Key Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in education, skilling, or large field-driven programs.
• Proven experience managing large, distributed teams.
• Strong process orientation with experience in SOP design, documentation, and implementation.
• Experience working with government projects or public sector stakeholders is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High proficiency in Excel, dashboards, and digital tools for operations tracking.
• Willingness to travel extensively across districts in Bihar.
