Job Description
Looking for mechanical engineer researches, designs, develops, and tests mechanical devices, equipment, and systems. Responsibilities span the product lifecycle from initial conceptual design and prototype testing to final manufacturing, focusing on performance, safety, and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Analysis: Develop 2D and 3D models of mechanical components using CAD Software and run mathematical simulations to evaluate performance under various physical conditions.
- Testing & Validation: Build prototypes and design experiments to test for structural integrity, temperature resistance, and mechanical efficiency.
- Manufacturing & Production: Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs can be manufactured efficiently and within budget.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical failures and design updates to resolve deficiencies in existing machinery.
- Documentation: Write technical manuals, create scope-of-work documents, and assist in generating material take-offs.
