Job Description

Position: Technical Manager – Solar EPC

Location: Kolkata (Preferred)

Industry: Solar Energy / EPC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for solar rooftop, ground-mounted, and solar water pump projects.
  • Develop and maintain technical BOMs using Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
  • Estimate project material quantities and costs.
  • Coordinate with procurement, project, and design teams.
  • Review technical drawings and ensure material accuracy.
  • Maintain product specifications and technical documentation.
  • Support project execution with technical expertise.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Solar EPC projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of BOM preparation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
  • Good understanding of solar components, electrical systems, and project materials.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
