Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Environment Engineer to manage environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, pollution control, waste management, and environmental monitoring. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to applicable environmental laws and support continuous improvement in environmental performance.
- Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with local, state, and national environmental regulations.
- Monitor air emissions, wastewater, hazardous waste, and other environmental aspects.
- Conduct environmental inspections and audits.
- Prepare and maintain statutory environmental records and reports.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities for permits, inspections, and approvals.
- Implement ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements.
- Develop and monitor waste management and recycling programs.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments.
- Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Promote sustainability initiatives to reduce energy, water, and resource consumption.
- Organize environmental awareness and training programs for employees.
- Monitor environmental KPIs and prepare monthly management reports.
- Support environmental impact assessments for new projects.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring through accredited laboratories.
