Patient Care Coordinator

Position SummaryThe Patient Coordinator shall be responsible for providing end-to-end coordination and support to domestic and international patients throughout their treatment journey. The role requires close coordination with hospitals, doctors, patients, attendants, and the Medzuro team to ensure a smooth and hassle-free treatment experience.

1. Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate patient admissions with hospitals and complete all admission formalities.
2. Schedule and coordinate OPD consultations, follow-up appointments, and diagnostic investigations.
3. Assist patients during hospital visits and coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and hospital departments.
4. Coordinate patient discharge, discharge documentation, billing formalities, and medication collection.
5. Maintain regular communication with patients and their attendants regarding appointments, treatment plans, and hospital schedules.
6. Arrange and coordinate transportation between the airport, accommodation, hospital, and other required locations.
7. Coordinate with hospital international patient departments and consultants for treatment planning.
8. Maintain patient records, treatment updates, and documentation accurately.
9. Assist patients in obtaining medical reports, prescriptions, investigation reports, and discharge summaries.
10. Coordinate emergency hospital admissions whenever required.
11. Provide language and communication support to international patients whenever necessary.
12. Ensure timely coordination for follow-up consultations after discharge.
13. Resolve patient queries and coordinate with the appropriate department for timely resolution.
14. Perform any other patient care coordination or administrative duties assigned by the management from time to time.

ReportingThe Patient Coordinator shall report directly to the Management/Operations Head of Medzuro Wellness Private Limited.

Working HoursAs per the company's operational requirements. Flexibility may be required in case of emergency admissions, patient discharges, or urgent hospital coordination.

• Compensation & BenefitsSalary shall be as mutually agreed in the Appointment Letter.
• Performance incentives, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of the Company.
• No accommodation or meals shall be provided by the Company.
• The employee shall make his/her own arrangements for accommodation, food, and personal transportation unless otherwise approved in writing by the Company.
• Any official travel expenses incurred for company work shall be reimbursed only upon prior approval and submission of valid supporting documents, in accordance with the Company's reimbursement policy.

Code of ConductThe Patient Coordinator shall maintain professionalism, confidentiality, punctuality, and courteous behaviour while dealing with patients, hospitals, doctors, and all stakeholders. The employee shall comply with all company policies, hospital regulations, and applicable laws during the course of employment.
