Site Coordinator

The central coordination point between the office and every live site. Ensures manpower, materials, vendors, drawings and information all move to the right site at the right time — so no project stalls waiting on something the office should have pushed. The person who keeps everything moving without leaving the desk.

Key responsibilities

Manpower coordination

• Track daily manpower requirement vs actual deployment across all sites against each site’s plan.

• Coordinate movement of labour and gangs between sites as priorities shift; follow up with supervisors and labour contractors on shortfalls.

• Monitor attendance daily and flag gaps to the PM early.

Material & logistics coordination

• Collect material requirements from sites, raise them with store/procurement, and track dispatch to delivery.

• Schedule transport and deliveries; chase pending materials so sites are never idle waiting on stock.

Vendor & sub-contractor coordination

• Schedule vendor and sub-contractor visits, follow up on committed deliverables, and maintain an updated contact directory.

Communication hub

• Single point of contact between site supervisors/engineers and office/management — relaying instructions, approvals and updates both ways so everyone works off the latest information.

Drawings & approvals flow

• Ensure the latest drawings/GFC reach each site, and track the status of pending approvals.

Documentation & reporting

• Collect daily progress reports from all sites; maintain manpower, material and dispatch trackers; keep management dashboards current.
