Field Collection Executive

An FOS (Feet on Street) Collection Executive job involves recovering overdue payments, representing banks or financial institutions on the field. It requires negotiating with customers, resolving financial discrepancies, and strictly following regulatory compliance.

Typical Job Profile & Responsibilities

• Customer Visits: Meet with customers at their homes or offices to discuss overdue accounts, EMI payments, and settlement options.
• Negotiation: Persuade and guide clients on prompt repayment of dues, resolving any payment-related disputes or grievances.
• Payment Processing: Facilitate cash and digital collections, issuing immediate receipts and sharing digital payment links.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, track promises-to-pay (PTP), and report daily collection data to the Team Leader.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to RBI (Reserve Bank of India) guidelines and organizational ethical standards while interacting with defaulters.

Key Skills Required

• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy, particularly with MS Excel and internal reporting apps.
• High patience and the ability to handle stressful field situations.
• Local area knowledge for navigating and tracking customer locations.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: Typically a Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience: Preference is often given to candidates with previous on-field sales, recovery, or banking/NBFC experience, though freshers are frequently hired.
• Essentials: A two-wheeler, a valid driving license, and an Android smartphone are almost universally required.

Salary & Benefits

• Base Salary: Ranges from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 per month depending on the location and the specific lending institution.
