Job Title: Shawarma Chef / Arabic Cook (Middle Eastern)/ Head Chef - Middle Eastern Cuisine
Job Description:
We are opening Sumac, a new Middle Eastern restaurant. We need a chef who can make shawarma the real way - building and cutting the shawarma spit for chicken and lamb (full stacking, not only cutting). You should also know Middle Eastern dips, falafel, breads (Saj/Lavash/Pita) and grilled kebabs.
Best for chefs who worked in the Gulf (Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Saudi, Bahrain, Kuwait) in Turkish, Lebanese or Syrian restaurants. Indian chefs coming back from the Gulf are welcome.
We start in Mangalore and open in Bangalore soon, then more cities. Good chance to grow with us.
Key Skills (3–5):
- Shawarma spit - building and cutting
- Chicken and lamb shawarma marinade
- Middle Eastern dips, falafel, breads
- Charcoal grill / kebabs
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 / month + Bi-Annual Bonus
Perks: Free room, free food on duty, flight ticket paid for chefs coming from the Gulf, bonus and growth as we open more stores
