Job SummaryShop Rapid IT World is seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware & Networking Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer hardware, networking systems, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of computer systems, network devices, and IT support services.
- Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other hardware devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Configure and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system security and reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and system backups.
- Install and configure operating systems, applications, and antivirus software.
- Provide technical support to customers and staff.
- Maintain IT asset records and documentation.
- Assist in server setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Required QualificationsDiploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in hardware and networking support (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking protocols, routers, switches, and security practices.
- Familiarity with CCTV, biometric systems, and server management is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
