Job SummaryThe Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards across the supermarket premises, including the sales floor, storage areas, washrooms, offices, and customer areas. The role ensures a clean, safe, and pleasant shopping environment for customers and employees.

• Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain the supermarket floor, shelves, counters, entrances, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize designated areas regularly.
• Clean and maintain washrooms, pantry areas, and staff facilities.
• Dispose of waste and garbage as per hygiene standards.
• Refill consumables such as hand wash, tissue paper, and cleaning supplies.
• Ensure immediate cleaning of spills to prevent accidents.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness during promotional events and peak business hours.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow company hygiene, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials are properly stored after use.
• EligibilityMinimum 8th Pass or above.
• Prior housekeeping experience in supermarkets, retail stores, hotels, hospitals, or commercial establishments preferred.
• Freshers may also apply.
• Skills RequiredBasic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
