Job Description – Embroidery Designer (EMCAD Dahao Software)

We are seeking a skilled Embroidery Designer with hands-on experience in EMCAD Dahao Embroidery Software to create, digitize, and edit embroidery designs for computerized embroidery machines. The ideal candidate should be proficient in embroidery digitizing, stitch optimization, and machine-ready file creation while ensuring high-quality production with minimal thread breaks and maximum efficiency. EMCAD Dahao is commonly used for advanced embroidery techniques including sequins, cording, chenille, beads, and other specialty embroidery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create, digitize, edit, and optimize embroidery designs using EMCAD Dahao software.

2. Convert logos, artwork, sketches, and customer designs into machine-ready embroidery files.

3. Develop embroidery patterns for garments, uniforms, fashion wear, home textiles, and custom products.

4. Configure stitch types, stitch density, underlay, pull compensation, and thread paths for optimum embroidery quality.

5. Prepare embroidery files for flat embroidery, caps, sequins, cording, chenille, beads, and other specialty embroidery applications.

6. Test and troubleshoot embroidery designs to minimize thread breaks, trims, and production errors.

7. Coordinate with production and machine operators to ensure accurate execution of embroidery designs.

8. Modify existing embroidery files as per customer specifications.

9. Maintain organized design libraries and backup of embroidery files.

10. Ensure designs meet quality standards, customer requirements, and production timelines.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with multi-sequin, cording, chenille, loose beads, chain stitch, and other specialty embroidery techniques.

2. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Photoshop for artwork preparation.

3. Experience working with computerized embroidery machines and production workflows.

4. Strong attention to detail and ability to optimize designs for efficient machine performance.
