Kitchen Staff

1. Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation, cooking, and storage areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work surfaces.
• Store food items correctly and monitor stock levels.
• Assist chefs and cooks during food service periods.
• Follow food safety, health, and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and keep kitchen areas organized.
• Support receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.

Specific Requirements:

• Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not always required.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and shift schedules as required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.
• Food Handler's Certificate or equivalent qualification may be required depending on local regulations.
