Export Sales

·       Generate revenue through sales to new customers as well to existing customers

·       Respond and acknowledge the inquiry from customer proactively

·       Plan and coordinate the international shipment of goods ensuring that shipments are in compliance with laws and regulations of exports

·       Ensure error-free documentation of all the export processes

·       Build up and maintain good relationships with customers, agents and distributors

An Application Engineer (AE) in mechanical engineering bridges the gap between technical products and client needs. They analyse customer requirements, design custom product solutions, provide technical sales support, and help transition projects from initial proposals to manufacturing or software execution.

A mechanical AE operates in a highly customer-facing and cross-functional role. Key aspects of the position include:

Core Responsibilities

·        Technical Sales Support: Assisting the sales team by providing product demonstrations, drafting technical proposals, and answering inquiries.

·        Requirement Analysis: Understanding the customer's specific problem and proposing an engineering solution (e.g., selecting the right materials, hydraulics, or CAD/CAM/CAE software).

·        Cross-Functional Collaboration: Passing client requirements to the internal engineering or production teams so the product can be built or customized.

·        Post-Sale Service: Conducting client training, system installations, and ongoing technical troubleshooting.

·        Typical Requirements & Skills

·        Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile, Robotics, or a related field.

·        Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of design and analysis tools like AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER (Cero), NX, or ANSYS.

·        Soft Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

·        Commercial Awareness: The ability to develop accurate cost estimates, understand pricing, and meet target margins
