Job Description
Positions: Head Lab, Physical Lab Incharge, Chemist Physical Lab Incharge, Shift Chemist Chemical Lab + Quality Shift Incharges, Process Control Incharge, Head Third Party, Technical Marketing
Total Manpower: 22 persons
About the Role:
Ensure product excellence and process compliance in our modern foundry facility. Join our Quality team as a Shift Incharge managing production quality, a Laboratory professional conducting material testing, or a senior leader overseeing the entire quality vertical.
Key Positions Within This Opening:
- Head Lab / Head Quality (1 position) – 10 years experience
- Quality Shift Incharge HZ / CZ / Process Control / Third Party Inspection (13 positions) – 2-5 to 5-7 years
- Physical/Chemical Lab Incharge / Shift Chemist (5 positions) – 2-10 years
- Technical Marketing / Documentation Incharge (3 positions) – 0-10 years
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process quality inspections and final product testing
- Perform chemical and physical lab analysis (tensile, hardness, chemical composition)
- Maintain quality documentation, certifications, and compliance records
- Troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Manage third-party inspection coordination
- Supervise shift quality team and technicians
- Prepare test reports and quality certificates
- Ensure ISO/industry standards compliance
- Conduct technical meetings with customers and internal stakeholders (for senior roles)
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- For Quality Shift Incharge: BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgy
- For Lab roles: B.Sc/M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry or B.E/B.Tech
- For Documentation: Graduate (B.A/B.Com)
Experience: 0-10 years depending on role (Fresher to 10 years)
Skills: Quality inspection, analytical testing, documentation, problem-solving
Industry Background: DIP, Steel, or foundry sectors
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISO 9001/TS 16949 knowledge
- ASTM/BIS standards familiarity
- CMMS experience for quality documentation
- Chemical composition analysis expertise (for lab roles)
- Exposure to Tata Metalliks, Jindal Saw, Electrosteel Castings, Welspun
Location: As per requirement
