Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for solar projects.
- Source and purchase solar materials such as Solar Panels, Inverters, Batteries, Structures, Cables, ACDB/DCDB, Earthing Materials, Junction Boxes, and other BOS (Balance of System) components.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure timely procurement for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Project, Finance, and Accounts teams for procurement planning and budget control.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, quantity, and delivery.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of solar products.
