Job Title: Senior Injection Mold Design Engineer (NX CAD | Plastic Injection Molds)

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Injection Mold Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of plastic injection mold design and be capable of handling projects independently from concept to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design plastic injection molds using Siemens NX CAD.
• Develop complete mold assemblies, 3D models, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis and suggest design improvements.
• Coordinate with customers to discuss product design, mold concepts, and engineering changes.
• Work closely with the tooling and production teams during mold manufacturing and trials.
• Select appropriate mold components, cooling systems, ejection systems, and gating concepts.
• Ensure designs meet quality, manufacturing, and project timeline requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic injection mold design.
• Strong proficiency in Siemens NX CAD.
• Good understanding of hot runner systems, cooling design, sliders, lifters, and unscrewing mechanisms.
• Knowledge of mold manufacturing processes and injection molding.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
