Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts (day-to-day accounting, ledger, journal entries, etc.)

Prepare and analyze financial statements, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets

Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance & returns filing

Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities

Coordinate with auditors and ensure proper documentation for audit

Monitor company’s financial health and suggest improvements

Maintain records of assets, liabilities, income, and expenditure

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com,M.Com/CA Inter preferred)

Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of Tally ERP For Invoice Generation / Accounting Software

Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other tax laws

Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills

Attention to detail and problem-solving attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
