Position Details

Job Title: Branch Head

Department: Operations & Business Development

Location: The Vision Sports Academy – Bhosale Garden, Hadapsar

Reporting To: Director / Head of Operations

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation Structure: 25 K TO 35 K

Job Summary

The Branch Head is responsible for the overall management, growth and operational excellence of the assigned academy branch. The role includes overseeing sports programs, staff management, admissions, parent relations, facility operations, revenue generation and branch profitability while ensuring a high-quality experience for students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Operations Management

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of all sports programs, coaching schedules and activities.
  • Monitor facility maintenance, cleanliness, safety and security standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Head Office for operational requirements and reporting.

Business Development & Admissions

  • Achieve monthly and annual student enrollment targets.
  • Drive admissions through inquiries, walk-ins, referrals, events and local marketing initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with schools, societies, clubs, Corporates and community organizations.
  • Conduct branch-level promotional activities, sports events and awareness programs.
  • Monitor inquiry-to-admission conversion rates and implement improvement strategies.

Revenue & Financial Management

  • Achieve branch revenue and profitability targets.
  • Monitor fee collection and outstanding payments.
  • Ensure timely follow-up of pending fees and renewals.
  • Control branch-level expenses and optimize resource utilization.
  • Prepare monthly revenue and performance reports.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Supervise coaches, coordinators, administrators and support staff.
  • Conduct staff scheduling, attendance monitoring and performance reviews.
  • Motivate and develop team members to achieve branch goals.
  • Ensure professional conduct and discipline among all employees.
  • Identify training needs and support staff development.

Parent & Student Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
  • Address concerns, complaints and feedback professionally.
  • Conduct parent meetings and orientation sessions when required.
  • Ensure high levels of student satisfaction and retention.

Sports Program Management

  • Ensure effective delivery of football, cricket, basketball, skating, swimming, pickleball, karate and other academy programs.
  • Monitor coaching quality and student progress.
  • Coordinate tournaments, competitions, camps, workshops and special events.
  • Support the implementation of new sports programs and initiatives.

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate local marketing campaigns with the marketing team.
  • Support social media content creation and promotional activities.
  • Build partnerships with schools, residential communities, and local organizations.
  • Represent the academy at events, exhibitions, and community programs.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of admissions, attendance, revenue and branch performance.
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports.
  • Track key performance indicators and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure documentation and compliance requirements are maintained.

Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Sports Management.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in branch operations, business development, education, sports, fitness, or service industry management.
  • Prior experience in managing teams and achieving sales or operational targets is preferred.
  • Experience in sports academies, schools, fitness centers or coaching institutes will be an advantage.
