Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMaintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory movement and conduct regular stock audits.
  • Ensure proper recording of inward and outward material transactions.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize shortages, damages, and excess stock.
  • Coordinate periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
  • Store OperationsManage daily store activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the store area.
  • Monitor shelf life and condition of stored materials where applicable.
  • Procurement & CoordinationCoordinate with procurement, production, and operations teams regarding material requirements.
  • Track reorder levels and initiate replenishment requests to avoid stock-outs.
  • Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Liaise with suppliers and transporters regarding material deliveries.
  • Documentation & ReportingMaintain all store-related records, registers, and system entries.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
  • Prepare material consumption and inventory analysis reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company documentation procedures.
  • Team ManagementSupervise store personnel and allocate daily responsibilities.
  • Train and guide store staff on inventory procedures and safety practices.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures.
  • Follow health, safety, and security standards within the store premises.
  • Prevent material loss, theft, damage, and unauthorized movement of inventory.
