Role OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and student-focused Educational Counsellor – Medical Education who will guide medical aspirants and their parents through the admission process for MBBS and other medical courses in India and abroad. The role involves cold calling leads, face-to-face counselling, follow-ups, and end-to-end admission support.

• Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling & AdmissionsCounsel students and parents for MBBS, BDS, MD/MS, and allied medical courses in India and abroad.
• Understand student profiles (NEET score, budget, preferences) and suggest suitable colleges and countries.
• Conduct face-to-face counselling at the office and telephonic/online counselling via calls, WhatsApp, and video meetings.
• Explain eligibility criteria, fee structure, admission process, NMC guidelines, and timelines clearly to students and parents.
• Calling & Lead ManagementMake outbound calls (cold calling & warm leads) to prospective students and parents.
• Handle inbound enquiry calls professionally and convert them into counselling appointments.
• Perform regular follow-ups to nurture leads and drive conversions.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and student interactions in CRM or Excel.
• Admission Process SupportAssist students with application forms, documentation, and submission deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, universities, and partner institutions for offer letters and confirmations.
• Guide students on basic visa process, medical tests, and travel formalities (where applicable).
• Ensure a smooth admission experience from enquiry to seat confirmation.
• Relationship & Trust BuildingBuild long-term relationships with students and parents through honest, ethical counselling.
• Address parent concerns regarding safety, quality of education, degree validity, and career prospects.
• Represent the organization professionally at all times.
• Targets & ReportingAchieve monthly and seasonal admission targets.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on calls, counselling sessions, and conversions.
• Participate in training sessions, counselling workshops, and admission drives.
• Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate in any discipline (Education, Science, or Healthcare background preferred).
• Experience in education counselling / medical admissions is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English and regional languages (Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi preferred).
• Comfortable with cold calling, lead follow-ups, and sales-oriented counselling.
• Ability to explain complex admission processes in a simple, reassuring manner.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, CRM, WhatsApp, email).
