• QualificationB.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / HVAC / Production / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Certification in ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Auditor (preferred).
• Experience2–10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Laboratory Management, or HVAC Testing Laboratories.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL accreditation is preferred.
• Key ResponsibilitiesImplement, maintain, and continuously improve the ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Management System (LMS).
• Prepare, review, and control laboratory documentation, including Quality Manual, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Forms.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate external/NABL assessments.
• Manage equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and measurement traceability.
• Ensure proper validation and verification of test methods.
• Monitor laboratory quality objectives, KPIs, and quality performance.
• Investigate non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Maintain records related to calibration, testing, uncertainty of measurement, and proficiency testing/inter-laboratory comparisons.
• Review and approve laboratory test reports before release.
• Train laboratory personnel on quality procedures and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, auditors, accreditation bodies, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Lead continual improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and quality performance.
• HVAC Laboratory ResponsibilitiesSupervise HVAC performance testing as per applicable national and international standards.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of HVAC laboratory equipment.
• Review HVAC testing procedures and ensure accurate test execution.
• Monitor environmental conditions required for laboratory testing.
• Verify calibration status of HVAC testing instruments before use.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation of HVAC test facilities.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Management System.
• Knowledge of NABL accreditation requirements.
