Job Description
Restaurant / Café Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Restaurant/Café Supervisor to oversee daily outlet operations, ensure excellent customer service, manage staff performance, maintain inventory, and support financial and administrative activities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and the ability to train and motivate team members to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Management & Training
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of service and kitchen staff.
- Conduct onboarding and training programs for new employees.
- Provide continuous coaching and performance feedback to team members.
- Ensure staff adherence to company policies, SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage staff attendance, leave, and shift scheduling.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Outlet Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as required.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, packaging, and operational supplies.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and stock audits.
- Track consumption patterns and minimize wastage.
- Generate purchase requisitions and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
Accounts & Reporting
- Manage daily cash handling and outlet cash reconciliation.
- Verify sales reports, invoices, and expense records.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor outlet expenses and support cost-control initiatives.
- Coordinate with the accounts department regarding payments, purchases, and financial documentation.
- Customer ServiceEnsure high standards of guest experience and hospitality.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
