Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally, bookkeeping, GST, TDS/TCS, bank reconciliations, and finalization of accounts. The candidate must ensure that all accounting records are accurate, complete, and updated on a timely basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally on a daily basis.
• Record all purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal, and contra entries.
• Perform bank, debtor, creditor, and ledger reconciliations regularly.
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
• Calculate, deduct, deposit, and reconcile TDS and TCS as per applicable laws.
• Maintain statutory records and assist in tax compliance.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
• Support finalization of accounts and coordinate with Chartered Accountants and auditors.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and accounting schedules.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and outstanding balances.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and company policies.
